Probably cc spawned...

They exist on console as well, as unlootable items. So the CC spawning is out.

They actually do spawn in the world in a few locations, but you can't pick them up. I've heard of glitches followers picking them up and smashing [censored] with them.

I saw one at the giant camp near Windhelm after I killed the giants there. Couldn't pick it up though...

My character actually wielded that for a couple of seconds before it disappeared. One of the few humorous bugs in this game.

This.

It's no glitch or bug, just a little fun factor from the developers. You might wanna check Rooster Teeth channel on youtube with regards to this matter. Hope it helped.

I can confirm this. Only companions can pick it up though.
I got some pictures of Argis the Bulwark using one. Taken by myself.

this is quite funny actually, unforunately I died right afterwards against a Draugr Overlord, and I never saw him use it again.

No, it's definitely a bug. You could wield it just fine if there wasn't a trigger preventing you from adding it to your inventory which companions and all the other NPCs don't have.

The "go pick up this item" feature for companions is broken from back to front anyway, they can carry infinite amounts of stuff if you just drop it to the ground and tell them to go fetch it aswell.

Its a glitch, yes they can use it as an twohand weapon and it's real good, downside is that you can not remove it later and its probably heavy.
As it works as an twohands weapon they probably thought of including it but dropped it as it's so large it look stupid, however they did not think about the order followers to pick up function.

Another nice glitch: you can fill your follower with gear and then drop stuff on the ground and order them to take the 20 armor sets.
However don't ask them to pick up stacks as they destroy all but one item.

I can't understand why they wern't put in as weapons in the first place. Would look awesome having a two ton club on you're back strolling through town...

It's something different at least.

I just looked up giant's club and tiny falmer on youtube.
That completes my "find something big and find something small to laugh about", from my daily scavenger hunt.
Thanks for the help. lol
