» Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:49 am After hearing about the ebony warrior, I loaded up my lvl. 81 character and beat his ass in two. I took his stuff and retreated to my house on solstheim. On the mannequins I put all his armour (not his sword) on the first mannequin you see.
Go to that guys house that has the dwemer machine hidden in his basemant and his lovers corpse. Now you will see a control panel next to the machine. Tap the 4 buttons that correspond to the enchantments of the ebony armour (fire for the body and so on) this will cause the machine to go a lot faster and open a secret passage in the direction of fyrkt or some dungeon like that (the fact that it's related to the snow elf prince is no coincidence!)
Now a quest called "bad horizon" will begin, this quest reminds me a lot of the aetherium quest from dawngaurd a lot due to the amount of stuff needed to do and the topic.
Follow the passage and you will enter a dwemer dungeon. Complete it and you get to a icy cavern with 7-9 snow elfs wearing morag tong
armour. Confused you may be but it slowly makes sense.they turn to look at you and after a lengthy conversation, a H2H fight with the leader and a persuasion they ask you to complete a few errands. The first being kill a dwemer centurion. Report back to them and they explain a bit. Basically that machine is a shape changing device and the the elves are trying use
it to to change the corpse of the elf prince (which is in a coffin in the cavern) into a live being. The catch is in order to change something you need a heart of the thing you
want to change it to. So in order to change the elf prince to a live being they need his spear, which has been lost in a cave system under tge cavern. They are also using the machine to edit snow elves into morag tong members to kill people that get to close without causing suspicion. They ask you to kill a second centurion and pick up a map he's guarding.
The map shows the sanctum of the god-killer,
the burial place of the child, the murderer of the prince, also where the spear is hidden. Now you have to go down into the sanctum along with a few other snow elves, the attack fails and they request you find reinforcements as their is only 3 snow elves left.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE DAWNGAURD YOU CANNOT GO ANY FURTHER THEN THIS.
If you do though, find the other snow elf and ask
him He brings his holy baddasery and helps you
defeat the dungeon. Return the spear and watch as TES history is made with the return of the snow elf prince. He gives you a [censored] ton of loot (his spear, more snow elf armour) and if you ask nicely a follower! He also shows you the way of snow elf magic costs 1 dragon soul allowing you to do some stuff.
Now the good bit, umbra!
If you still have the ebony sword you can ask him to morph any sword you have into umbra using the ebony sword as a heart. BUT the transformation costs 10 dragon souls to fuel the machine.
Give it a try guys! It's a pretty packed up secret and it took me a while to find aswell as a lot of looking through files by copieing DB onto a USB and looking at it on the PC. Any questions?
