Founders Tower One Sided?

Is Founders Tower hard? The hack objective i didnt have any trouble at all considering once your in hacking its easy to defend. Now planting the charge was sorta hard but just like the hack object once you got over there it was easy, it just took a while to get over there to plant the charge without dying. Ok so once you go up the elevator you are in this construction zone type of area. (Which is really cool in my option) But trying to get in the room after that is VERY hard. I'm surprised we got the charge almost every time i played it but when i played in a multiplayer match it was just insane. You just camp in there with the Gatling gun... get a few medics and ping you got yourself a win. This only happens in multiplayer. When your playing against bots its ok. The next objective is a repair objective. Now it takes frikin forever to get over there and finally when your about to go in the room to repair it you walk over a landmine. landmine after landmine after landmine... its a pain in the ass! and then you have to run all the way back its just like wtf! i have to run all the way back now. Its mostly frustrating then hard though. just having to run all the way back to the object its annoying as hell. i probably have a win loss ratio on founders tower of 5:1 against BOTS. but with real people probably 2:4 Labs i think is not one sided at all i think its a fair map for the resistance considering i only lost 1 time on the resistance team. But what do you think? one sided? or is it just very frustrating?

Once again Security get's the shaft.

It's rough, yeah, and a bit too shotgun friendly in the part that you're talking about. (I had a rougher time with the previous objective because of turrets, mines, and about a bajillion Resistance guys there who were able to die and respawn and return faster then I could plant the damn HE.

Considering the fact that Resistance has won EVERY BLOODY WEEK, I moderately expected both maps to help balance that out by helping Security. Instead, Resistance has an easy attack mission, and Security has (this one) overly crazy attack mission.

The first objective is plain dumb. Takes forever to run up to it, and the Res. have such an easy path to get there, there being the spot that covers both entrances. Sec. must climb over all sorts of crap, of course being easily shot at all the while, and then outflanked because the Res. spawn so much closer.

The second objective isn't quite as bad, although it still is fairly difficult. Not near as far for Sec. to get to it compared to the first, and the spot isn't super easily defensible by Res. I've seen several good rushes by both sides here, so it's fairly balanced.

The third objective is another soldier HE one, and this one is far worse. With several confusing paths to get to the objective for Sec., it is difficult to get there. Especially considering that Res. can hold up right on the small, shotgun spammable pathways. The charge is difficult to defend once played, as the defense is where the Res. walks right in from about 3 angles.

The fourth objective is the engineering hacking one. This one is truly insane. Again, shotgun spammable, with Res. having the advantage with it. Sec. must get through a small opening into a room that is easily defensible for Res. and hack on the far back wall of it.

The fifth objective, the delivery, is crazy as well. Not only must Sec. go back into that crazy stronghold of a room for Res., they must leave after going to the far back wall and back through the narrow entry/exit point. Then down narrow (and more shotty spammy) hallways that lead down to the delivery zone spot, which isn't as bad as getting there. I've only seen one failed attempt on delivering the objective once it got that far, but getting it that far is ridiculous0

Just my thoughts on Founder's Tower.

give it time guys. a lot of the maps seemed a lot harder till you figured our the tricks and secrets, nooks and crannies, etc etc.

(of course, some of the maps got harder after everyone figured them out...but still, give em time)

I play security exclusively and I've only lost Founder's Tower once. I love this map. I also get the MOST points out of this map due to its sheer length.

I think its fair all you have to do is use the vent and vwala your 2 feet away from the objective. the AI on this level is braindead though causing em to constantly swictch classes ot do the objective

There is a vent that makes flanking into the 3rd objective room quite easy. The repair objective has ay least 4 entrances and the room is far too large for shotguns and almost too big for miniguns.
