Four Eyes

It seems that the Four Eyes perk is broken.
For those not familiar with this, it provides +1 perception while wearing any type of glasses, and -1 perception when not wearing glasses.

Here’s my situation:

Started out with a 6 perception and took the four eyes perk. So this gives me 5 perception (no glasses yet). The first item I found that would fall under the “glasses” category was the biker goggles. So upon equipping them I saw no change. I came to the conclusion the goggles don’t count as glasses, makes sense.

Yesterday I re-rolled my toon after hitting level 6. This time through I found some glasses in the beginning. Needless to say I was pretty stoked. That was until I equipped them. It doesn’t work.

So I had a base 6 perception. Without glasses it drops to 5, equipped a +1 hat and it went back to 6. After equipping the +2 glasses it went to 8 it should have gone to 10.

Ex 1: (this is if the hat and glasses stack)
Base 6, +1 from perk (wearing glasses), +1 from hat, +2 from stats on glasses = 10.

Ex 2: (if hat and glasses don’t stack)
Base 6, +1 from perk, +2 from glasses = 9.

Now if the perk doesn’t stack with the stats on the glasses, well that’s just stupid. Why take the perk then, all the glasses are going to have at least +1 perception anyways.

Anyways perk is broke no matter how you do the math or look at it. The perk doesn’t recognize that you have glasses equipped. (wearing only +2 glasses gives me 7 perception, Base 6, -1, +2 = 7 = broke perk)

I am having a similar issue that it doesn't stack with +2 per glasses and the item Hat with Glasses doesn't apply the bonus when it clearly puts a hat and glasses on you. It does use up the glasses 'slot' in addition to the hat.

Yes it's a totally broken trait, and I'm quite disappointed. I took this as well and they've already issued 2 or 3 patches and haven't fixed this. This is something basic that should have been caught in testing.

I think the trait adds +2 Per to the glasses; ie. if you play without the trait then the glasses have no bonus.
