9-15 FPS With Low Quality Graphics/No Mods

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 9:34 am

I have used FRAPS to get the range of FPS. I have no mods installed and the graphics are on low quality. I have played Fallout New Vegas on the XBOX but with the mods there is so much more stuff you can do on the PC so I would like to start playing it on the PC. However i cant as my game is very laggy. Could someone give me a few suggestions on how to increase FPS with a little description on how to get it to work also.

My PC Spec is:
Processor: Intel Celeron E3300 Dual Core 2.50GHz
Memory: 3GB RAM
Hard Drive: 1TB Hard Drive
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
Graphics Controller: INTEL G45/G43 EXPRESS
Video Memory: 32MB
Audio Output: Realtek High Definition Audio

Thanks :)

The "Graphics Controller: INTEL G45/G43 EXPRESS" is not really suitable for gaming, you need a proper graphic card. A mid-range card like the recently released Radeon 6670 would do wonders for you, and a high-end card would of course be even better.

Given the poor quality of the CPU, a great deal of the performance possible with a High End graphics card would be lost from severe bottlenecking, so that the relative value of the High End cards is compromised on such a system.

PC gaming is different from XBOX. You need to check system requirements which are posted all over the web for the game you want to use. Just google the game for system requirements or go right to the
developers website.
