Did you also check by Sgt. Contreras in McCarran or Qtm. Brandon at Hoover Dam?
The Great Khans' armorer is also a possibility if you have a good standing with them.

Cheers!

Since the patch dynamite has become a reasonable alternative.

Viper bandits sometimes have them too (like the ones near Novac), at least at higher lvls. But unless the patch changed something, it's hard to get a truly huge supply of frag grenades if you're actually using them a lot. You can abuse the merchant save/reload/wait type stuff I suppose.

I know but i prefer grenades because they make me look more soldier/mercenary-ish.

Some Super Mutants would have one frag on them if you kill the one that has melee weapon before it can use it to throw at you.

I don't buy grenades -- too damned expensive, though I can afford it -- but here's some tips on finding them.
Check mines for explosives crates.
The truck below the Canyon Wreckage has about 10.
There are some in the Nipton Rest Stop in an ammo box.
Bradley's Shack. Raul's Shack.
RepConn Facility has some.

The first time I played NV I couldn't seem to find grenades anywhere. Now I've got so many most are in storage. Just keep looking -- good luck.
