Frag mines are alive!

At least in my game they are. I was wandering outside Goodsprings and apparently wandered too close to the powder gang outpost near Jean Sky Diving when the [Caution] came up and the shooting started. Well I killed the Powder gang member at the location but the [Caution] would not go away. At least it wouldn't until I disarmed the frag mine that was under the cone. This happened again at another location, killed all mobs but caution would not go away until I disarmed the mine.

This gets highly annoying when I am trying to wander around an area but have to stop and study the landscape to make sure if it is a mob or mine that pops up [caution].

better to be alert!

it's better than all of a sudden have to hear the dreaded frag mine sound go off and give you head trauma..

but i hear what you are saying,t eh land mines aren't alive so they shouldn't show up on the radar as such

Maybe it is an undocumented feature of the Wild Wasteland perk "Your mother dropped you on your head one too many times as a child, the last time being on top of a mine. Now you suffer delusions that all mines are out to get you."
