This started happening after the last patch, though I don't know if that is just coincidental. I can get into Camp McCarran but after I walk for a bit towards the doors to the concourse the game freezes and I have to reset my system. Can someone tell me if this issue is being addressed for the XBox? I saw on the wiki that this is a known issue for the PC but I've not seen anything about it for the XBox.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just restarted playing after giving up on my first go around because I was experiencing so many glitches. If I have to start over again it will be a long time before I buy a game by Bethesda again, which would be a shame because I REALLY like Fallout.

Exactly the same freeze here. Not like freezes in the past. There were no small lags before it froze, and everything stopped at once, the screen froze and the sounds ceased at the same time. Usually the sounds (music etc) keep playing on a freeze, but not with this one.

I'm also on Xbox.

i got a freeze once when i left there.the screen filled with a brown and biege pinstripe effect.not cool.but i only get freeze and crash if i play for hours and dont power down once in a while.

I thought I'd let you know that I think I solved this problem. First, I took the monorail from the strip into McCarran. I was able to go all over the place inside with no problem. After leaving through Contrarras' area and walking around outside for a few minutes the game froze up in the same way again. I rebooted, and saved while I was still outside at McCarran. I left the game and then emptied the cache from the xbox control panel. I loaded the game back up and since then I have not had the game freeze up. I'm not exactly sure if one thing has to do with the other or if this is permanent but give it a try it worked for me. Best of luck.

i can get into mcarren but any time i try to talk to carrera in the supply room it locks me up upon entering the room
