After i bought Dead Money, i haven't been able to play new vegas at all. It will freeze up after about a minute of play every time. I installed the game onto my hard drive & i even cleared basically everything on my hard drive that i don't use, but it still freezes up. None of my other games have this problem they all run just fine. also i'm not equipped w/any of the equipment that bethesda says store, as well i haven't even tried to get to the add on, i'm in Vault 11. Has anyone else had this problem & fixed it?

Yes but mines freezes when I get to the Mojave outpost in the south I get there and anything I do freezes the game.....

Have you deleted the add-on? Is it downloaded? If you just simply bought it but didn't install it, that won't be the reason for freezing.

It's quite possible you need to get out of the vault, if it's freezing after a minute, that's about when the quest triggers. Delete the DLC, continue your game and get out of the vault (or revert to a save when you're not in the vault) and then try reinstalling the DLC and see how she handles.

i was on the Primm mission and also I noticed it froze no matter where I went so I deleted the dlc and now I'm good I'll just wait 4 a patch.... ..... also dont know why but I was able to go up 5 levels b4 it started freezing lucky I didnt get any of the new perks it helped when I deleted it!!!
