Ever since I have installed dawnguard my game has frozen every hour or so, im not sure if this is caused by dawnguard but it sure is annoying.. Idk if its me or something but, any ideas? Mind this is on xbox, my disk is perfect.

Mines not been freezing every hour but ive had this strange lag where when im in buildings and caves i would get lag not majorly but its there especially noticable when im in a fight and then the weird thing is when i step into skyrim theres nothing no lag at all. Now correct me if im wrong but shouldnt the lag be outside rather than inside haha

I freeze everytime I load a game or try to start a new one.

A game crash can be caused by many things, and it's hard to predict exactly what happened. Probably the most common in games are memory leaks, excessive loops in the code language and patterns, and will most likely be triggered after long play sessions. Common problems for the system are airflow & overheating issues, damaged optical drive and discs. Since you started seeing issues after you installed Dawnguard and your game disc is in prestine condition it could be an issue with the game and not your system. Do you get these crashes in locations or through a loading barrier, and are they specific to the new Dawnguard locations?

Here are something you may want to try:

• Install the game to the hard drive or a storage unit (Or re-install it)
  
• Clear your system cache (Dashboard -> System -> memory -> Unit (Y) -> Perform system maintenance)
  
• Make sure that your console and power unit get enough air and space
  
• In the game: Wait at least three (3) in game days, 72 hours. Save & exit, restart and load.
  
• In the game: Check in the books & keys locations in your inventory for any duplicated items.
