I have checked many review sites now to make sure that my issue is not unique, it is not. The game has frozen several times, often while I was not even in combat or at a loading screen. I have turned off and cooled the PS3 before restarting, Fallout new vegas only froze sooner than before.

I want to know if the company behind the game plans on patching these issues, or if any individuals have already found solutions. In today's age of beta testing, this seems to be an embarassing oversite. I have enjoyed games like fallout and morrowind for years but I cannot justify spending hard earned money on any other product from an associated company unless this is resolved. I am seriously offended as a customer that a business would sell me this as a finished product.

Well I do hope a fix is on the way.... this is the thing though... I don't know if you are familiar with fallout 3 and it's expansion packs, but to say the least ( and you can research this if you'd like) those were COMPLETELY messed up. what happen in that situation was the following: Fallout 3 worked beautifully. But once you installed the expansions it started kind freezing on and off, you play 5 mins, it froze 2 secs, and as you progressed it got worse of course, to the point that you played 3 mins then it froze and didn't come back, unless you restarted it. Now, why am i bringing this up? Well because bethesta knew about these issues and did nothing to solve it. all you have to do is type Fallout 3 expansion pack freezing problems on google. The results are staggering. When i purchaced new vegas i was hoping they would get on top of that but.... i mean this is not even the expansion pack, and it is already freezing up like this... It'd be nice if they fix it... but i won't get my hopes up, unless they publish something about a fix.
