I can't seem to leave Dead Money. It freezes right after it attempts to load the slideshow.

I deleted TU4 and I could load the next area but the slideshow didn't play, the textures on the villa were wrong and my Dead Money challenges were gone.

So then I cleared my cache and then redownloaded the update and I still can't access the slideshow because of the freezes.

I even deleted Dead Money and redownloaded it and same issue.

I managed to fix it, but it involves console commands.

After I converted my save to PC (when just trying to "Return to Mojave" it also froze) I used the console command tcl (Toggle Clipping Mode) and then part of the slideshow loaded. Then I used tcl again and the slideshow played as normal and then loaded the BoS Bunker. So this does fix it but you must have the ability to convert your save back and forth.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've been rolling around 7 back up saves, and I muffed them early on in Dead Money. Accidently over rode my saves outside the place. Although I downloaded it back in December, I hadn't got around to finishing it until yesterday. After clearing it, I watched the ending slide show. After Cathrine's ending went, the game froze. So I reset and left the place again. Now it freezes before the slideshow and after a brief loading screen.

I've rolled back saves clear back to the point where you intially enter the casino and finished to no avail.

I have well over 130 hours on this character. It's the only guy I've made. Well, outside the first character that got nuked during the Come Fly With Me glitches from Novemember. Although this game is fun, this is the second time in its life span I've encounted save killing glitches. That is unaccaptable. I understand graphic and music errors from time to time or even the freak game wipe, but this is beyond freak considering happened twice.

I don't know why this happens, luckily I can mod so I was able to fix it (converting save to pc and using tcl to access the slideshow and tcl to allow slideshow to play and then converted it back)

Hopefully when they release another update it can be fixed for people who can't mod.

Not that I'm going to try, but I wonder if the new DLC would shomehow allieviate this problem? Is there a patch or something with it?

I'm still looking for a solution here.
