Hi I was playing last night through the dark brotherhood quest, I had done the mission where you poison the fake emperor, after I had killed the real emperor I went back to solitude to get rid of that 1500 bounty however after the guard says 'Hey you've committed crimes against skyrim and its people pay up or go to jail' no matter which option I choose the guard will then say his reply 'well ok we'll take your money and any stolen goods off you' or 'ok to jail' and then the game freezes.....except the ambient sounds. Has anyone else come across this? I tried searching but couldn't find anything related to this, I have been able to lose my bounty before but no longer can I also have 5 bounty in markarth from ages ago that I never sorted and its freezing there too. I've also never had any other bugs or other strange things happen in my game before this, I've played around 45 hours with a save file of 7mb.

Any help or fixes would be great. Thanks

Try turning your auto saves off?

I've tried that one it still freezes

I have no idea and was just hoping this fixed it. I guess start a new character and play this one again when 1.4 comes out hoping it fixes it?

ahh that would be a shame but i think i'm probably going to do that :-/
