Friends with Keerava?

Is it possible to befriend Keerava? Part of the reason that I didn't want to join the Thieves Guild is because it would make me be mean to her and her soon-to-be husband Talen-Jei - so I didn't join the guild. Since I helped out Talen-Jei, he calls me friend, but Keerava is still rude to me. I know the radiant AI system lets you drop certain items, and if an NPC wants it they'll ask you for it. Apparently, they become your friend if that happens, but has anybody ever gotten it to work? I've had people ask me for dropped armor before, which I told them they could have it, but they never picked it up. If I talked to them again, they immediately asked if they could have the armor again. It never advanced.

What item do people think I should drop in hopes of getting Keerava to respond? I'm thinking fine clothes or something.

This is really the last thing that I want to try to do before I stop playing. I dropped a whole bunch of items and actually befriended one other NPC - even though they never picked up the item - but Keerava didn't become interested in anything that I dropped. If anybody has any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them. I'm not even sure if it's possible to befriend her. I just wish she weren't so rude to me.

If you do the quest for her husband to be she will be kinder to you.

I helped Talen-Jei, then did the shakedown quest for the TG. Ever since then Talen-Jei greets me with, "You've got a lot of nerve showing your face here after what you did to Keerava!" then he immediately goes into his friendly proprietor banter. I honestly don't know why he's so bent out of shape, lol.

she's just sort of a prickly sort of gal. Even her hubby-to-be gives some illusion to this when he talks to you about her and the ring. she's never gonna be a teddy bear and sweeties kinda gal. He likes her that way. I kinda like her that way, too.

I did the quest and he's nicer, but she isn't. Constantly telling me to get out if I don't have money.

Yeah, they are sort of opposites of one another. It's just that I managed to befriend the other rude shopkeeper in Solitude and now she's nice to me, but I did that by investing in her store - which automatically makes the shopkeeper your friend. You can't invest in Keerava's store, because it's just a pub.

I'll just keep dropping different items for a little bit. Although I have to reload every other time because a fight keeps breaking out. Mjoll has murdered several people trying to get fine clothes and jeweled necklaces. So much for honor.
