Frozen in the air

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 12:48 pm

I have a saved game that loads with my character what looks like up in the air. I cannot move or rotate on the mouse. I have tried using COC to change locations and it is still up in the air at the new location. The pic on the load screen is normal. I have also tried using the "movetoqt" but can't get that to work at all. Any ideas on how to recover or just delete it and start over. *Mental note: use more than one save per character from now on* but that won't recover this character.

Thanks in advance.

Try typing tfc into the console. It may be that you have flying camera on.

You were right, the "camera" is free floating. It just won't go "back in the characters head". I can view her walking around and everything, but can't get it to go back to the view. And while driving the character the camera doesn't move. Is there a script for doing wht the "f" button usually does, taking it back to the first person view?

Thanks again.

Have a scroll wheel? Scroll forward.

There are two versions of the TFC command, TCF for the flying camera, and TFC 1 for a paused flying camera. Sounds like you have the latter enabled.
