I was casually playing the game (as you do) and entered the sky haven, i then saved my game (which is now a save file over 4000kb) and turned it off when i turned my ps3 back on it did an update im assuming this is the 1.2 or 1.3 update, anyway when i returned to the game to continue my character was frozen i cant move, draw my weapons or do anything other than bring up the start menu, it probably wouldnt be half as bad if i was outside cause i could quick travel in the hope this would sort it out but as im inside i cant, plz someone give me some help or advice i dont wanna start over????

Is it an autosave slot you are trying to load?

1.3 patch has reportedly been breaking pre-patch autosaves.

Try loading up a manual save and go back to the temple.

Please don't say you only have one save in a game like this.

You may want to try and reload another save file. If you are just relying on auto saves then you are probably of luck. You can try dumping all your game data and reloading a fresh game without the update and doing various manual saves and then download the new update and you may get lucky.

well what happened was i had a manual save in the temple with about three auto saves, and my friend started a new game which over wrote my auto saves so i just had my one manual save, and he had one manual save with the three auto saves which i didnt think would be a problem at all, how wrong i was....thnx for the reply

Just as a note I always copy a save to my USB memory stick after every game play just to be on the safe side.

not a bad idea, although like everyone else said why release the game if its so buggy u shouldnt have to do this...

each day before i start skyrim, i send money to tele-evangelists via credit card, then i slowly spin in circles while doing 20 hail marys, then skyrim works like a charm BUG FREE! try it, its awesome
