My friends were talking about this game non stop and had this look of "What the hell?!" when I told then I had never even heard of The Elder Scrolls. After that I got the game...

I didn't have trouble with bugs until Esbern. Found the fix for that and all was good again. I've explored, fought dragons, learned shouts and fell in love with this game. Then more bugs came.

I can not talk to Jarl Maven to finish my Riften Thaneship. (Yes I am aware of the console fix) -- Now the old Jarl is back after I finished my Stormcloak missions.
I can not buy the house in Windhelm, can not get Blood In the Ice to trigger so no Thaneship there either
I had to fight Alduin 4 times to get the end sequence to even appear right. Paarthurnax would not fly away, but the fourth time finished it properly.


There are other small ones that are not that big of a deal like my soul gems not stacking anymore and I can't get rid of my Return to Esbern or whatever... I've avoided console commands to complete my quests because I'm worried about it screwing up others.

Skyrim as it is, is not a game to just randomly explore and fight creatures. Doing so only makes questlines break. Until the bugs are fixed I'd say this is just a game where you have to follow the questlines to accomplish the tasks. :\
