Fun with the Orc who wanted a fitting death

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 12:25 pm

I came across an orc in the wild at night who was standing around. When I talked to him, he went on about how he was waiting for someone to give him a fitting death.

Well, after talking to him and finally deciding to try and give him what he was looking for, we fought. It was a decent fight, fairly challenging. I was about to be killed by him, with my health very low when I decided to to launch a power attack.

With barely an ounce of health left I swung around and cut his head off. I hope I satisfied his wish.

Now, i'm not normally one to gaga over death blows, but in this instance it seemed extremely fitting and was quite satisfying.

That's all, just a small footnote to my game experiences.

Awesome :)

I loved that encounter because it was very similar to Umbra in Morrowind.

I was thinking the same thing. One of the great Morrowind events.

I've fought a couple of them orcs... No special death blows there BUT...

I was fighting a dragon the other day and I widdled him down with my bow from behind a pillar. (trying to stay alive) anyway he landed right by me and I equipped my sword and ran out. The dragon noticed me an went for a bite of tasty readgaurd. I then swung my sword knocking the life out of the dragon and his attempt to devour me. His then fell over lifleless...

It was comical and exciting!

Agreed. I had a elven war axe. Did a backspin and cut his head off. Was extremely amusing since at the lower levels he whooped my ass.

Unfortunately I killed him before I had the wabbajack, but I think that's the one thing I'll try an do in anotwr play thru.
Go there, turn him Into a rabbit and stand on him. Howa that for a fitting death.

Gave him a clean decapitation with an Orcish Battleaxe. Probably the way he wanted it.

I felt kinda bad afterwards, because I just hit him with lighting a few times till he died. He was staggered 100% of the fight, so it wasn't that honorable of a death...

I figured I'd give him an honorable death, so I did the logical thing and slit his throat=p

Its kinda similar but I had a random encounter with a noble. Hetold me to get lost or he would call his gaurd. I thought he was a dike. Then Kynereth in all her glory answered my prayers, out of nowhere a sabercat attacked, mauled his gaurd, the man got of the horse and proceded to challenge the cat to a fistfight. Drawing him away from the legion soldier. Only the noble died (and the sabercat obviously) his bodygaurd just got up and was saved by the guy wanting to fight a sabercat. Praise kynareth.

Havent encountered this orc.

I avoided him until I could do something remotely interesting. At one point he showed up at the same place I did and this was the result:

I felt pleased. :)

I encountered him while playing my mage and thought being burned alive isn't honorable so i pulled out a looted sword and dueled him in a tough fight (my mage has little weapon skill).
I felt like i've granted his wish by slaying him by the sword :)

I met one of these orcs on my way to Kynesgrove with Delphine. After knocking most of his health off, he started saying "no more, I yield!" But then I guess he remembered he wanted to die honorably, and started attacking again, so I was able to fulfill his request.

That guy beat my ass a few times on different characters. I'm not sure if he scales in level or not.
