Maybe but i think it be a challenge if they up the story with different races like if you play as Kahjiit you have to work hard to gain there trust alot harder then playing as nord.

There is not enough racial distinction in Skyrim.

If you're a Khajiit, your experience in Skyrim should be totally different than if you were a Nord. At the very least, you should have to pay a fine to enter Windhelm.

Speaking as a Khajiit player, I would actually prefer to be treated differently, it would add more depth to the game. So maybe I could not marry a Nord woman and own real estate BUT the Khajiit caravan would give me a discount, maybe even Khajiit-only jobs and information not necessarily shared with other races. Food for thought.

You can always start another character to experience the racial-only possibilities for the other races. But, unfortunately, this is only a dream currently.

My complaint is that for the most part, no races are treated differently, in any important way. Maybe random comments from guards or whatever, but nothing meaningful. Everybody's a nord, basically- you can just choose to wear a different races' costume for chuckles.

No not enough i want a gaurd to come to me and say hey cat your not welcome here you little sneak thief if you want us to treat us better you got to do something big for us. wich would lead to a quest for some item they want to gain trust like the orc stronghold

Something like an Origins start for each race would be incredible and would actually give reason for playing the different races. Follow that up with more race specific minor quests in the game.

Bethesda did everything they could to make the races look more distinct, but at the same time made them all vanilla also.

Same here, I want to be treated differently, I'm a Khajiit player too, and was hoping when I started this playthrough It'd be different, but no....

No, it's just lip service racism. Where are the random gangs of nord thugs looking to 'teach you a lesson' in some dark alley, sometimes? Where are the quests that make you have to work harder or talk slicker in order to prove yourself to those cracker nords? Etc...

It still feels weird to be the only Khajiit in town. If I was really RPing a Khajiit, I'd demand the cities be open up to all cats or this Dovahkiin would take his services Elsweyr.

Prior games had something like that because the NPC disposition was modified by race. Altmer are much more hated than Khajiit so their racial disposition modifiers were pretty negative for most races. For better or worse (worse IMHO) Skyrim has diluted the distinctions between the races to the point where racial chocie is little more than aesthetic.

The racist Nords shouldn't mess with the Dragonborn. and we can't exactly kill everyone. if all of Skyrim is racist we would want to kill them all.

People freak out about racism as it is.

They don't get that though Nords are ethnocentric and proud as most (all?) Tamrielic races are, they're also a meritocratic society. If you prove yourself, you can be accepted and even honored.

Whenever I go to windhelm I kill those two people that are bullying the Dark elf, on my argonian and Khajiit and orc they were killed. (orc they were battered.) (khajiit slit throats) (Argonian burned alive) I would'a loved if when speaking to them, they'da brushed me off, like ........ < insert race get outt'a my face before I waste you, you know why would they bully an elf, and say nothing to you when you talk to em'?

In all honesty the Nords are much less racist than the Dunmer. If you ever read the book Dunmer of Skyrim then you can see the Dunmer are hardly innocent.

Isn't it just the caravans they hate? There's nothing wrong with Khajiit's, it's just that the caravan khajiits have some bad reputation... Such as moon sugar and skooma. (which in Skyrim, might as well be childrens candy and not illegal drugs, since they don't actually affect anyone in any way)
