My brother, who also plays Fallout 4, told me the other day that Danse sounds like George Clooney to him. I laughed at that, but then when I started a new character the other day and started the BoS quests, I couldn't help but realize that there is a bit of a resemblance in his voice, even if we know his voice actor is unrelated.

I just thought that that was pretty funny.

That assumption, without actually knowing any different ahead of time, is absolutely 100% dead on. I actually brought it up to my wife the next morning (after I'd found him on an early morning binge session) and we were both convinced it was him... Until I decided to iMdb and find that it was not him.

Given Bethesda's tendency to find a couple high profile celebrities to do VO work for their titles, I figured it'd be a sure thing.

But it wasn't. Glad to hear I wasn't nuts, though.

Definitely not nuts. I totally thought it was Clooney too until I looked it up like you did.

Now that my brother mentioned it, it's hard not to hear his voice. I am not sure if that makes Danse more awesome, or just silly. Still going to be my #1 comrade-in-arms, especially on my new toon who will go full Brotherhood (but spare Danse. Friendships are just as important as loyalty to organizations...plus on this toon Danse is the second companion character he meets (after Preston), so he values his comradeship early on).
