So I'd been out in the snowy wilds just south of Winterhold, mucking about with Illusion Spells mainly, but also stocking up some empty Soul Gems. I bumped into the NPC called Louis Letrush, who I'm sure I've met before, but I didn't seem to be able to interact much with him.

Anyway, much later, as I approached Whiterun, I noticed some characters just standing around, and when I got closer I realised there were THREE Louis Letrushs, just standing there. In fact one wasn't just standing...he was half submerged into the ground!! Very odd. (Took a photo, but I can't see the Attach option here. I guess I can only link uploaded images.)

Seems to be a very common thing depending on how one finishes out a particular quest involving Letrush. IIRC even if it ends up with him dead, he still keeps cloning himself outside Whiterun. I don't know if it happens if you've never interacted with him, though.

It's things like this I'm noticing more now that I Fast-Travel less.

Some of these glitches are funny! I've never experienced that Louis Letrush glitch(probably because the only thing I've done in that quest is persuade him to give me the money AND let me keep snow). But, outside of Whiterun, I was talking to the Khajits at the trading caravan, when out of nowhere, the skeleton of the first dragon you fight at the watchtower spawns inside one of the guard towers leading up to Whiterun, spazzing out because it spawned in a tight space.

I have 9 who just stand there. They cannot be killed.

The funniest thing happend in a battle with one of the guards and this wizard outside of whiterun. A guard shot an arrow and hit Louis. All 9 swarmed over the guards killing every guard outside witherun, I reloaded my game and cried myself to sleep that night.

If you dont fast travel he will keep cloning

avoid his quest he is evil clone

Ha... I've got a dozen Letrushes by the Whiterun stables.
Good for doing a quicksave, Unrelenting Force, and then a quickload just to blow off steam.

Hahahahahaha.......ROFLMAO........... those post were almost as much fun as killing Letrush! Which you can do on an PC.

I had a very strange thing happen outside the meadery by Whiterun - Sinding came strolling by in werewolf form (who I'd earlier killed as part of the relevant quest - or so I thought) saying "need something?" if I tried to talk to him. It was really bizarre.

I have 11.

There's probably 15 or so in my game. I make a KILLING pickpocketing them all in one session.

Ha! I also had him outside Whiterun half buried. At first it looked like a body chopped in half and I thought that would be pretty cool if possible but then he moved. Too bad. What a great kill cam with a huge broad sword or axe just lopping someone in half. ha ha

This is why I never did the quest for him again. 36 Letrushes outside of Whiterun on my first save...

A quick search here would have yielded a hundred posts on the very same subject ...

I also often have the teleporting-Mirmulnir-skeleton-glitch occurring, it can be amusing but rather frustrating if timed/placed poorly.

Has the cloning issue been fixed for pc, or are console commands needed? As I have yet to visit Riften, I haven't met Louis yet.
