So after waiting many many many months for a Beta invite into The Old Republic, I have finally gotten a two day weekend invite. But guess which weekend. :glare: November 11-13. :banghead: I could not have received this Beta invite at a worse time. Well. As much as I would love to use that invite to test out SWTOR, my weekend is going to fully be dedicated to Skyrim and no other game. Still. I am pretty ticked with Bioware right now for choosing the 11th to send me a Beta. :swear:

Heh, happened to me too. Plus I have to go out of town on Saturday for a family event. Yay me! Heh. I intent to fit both Skyrim and Starwars into my weekend, besides I have Monday and Tuesday off work to play more Skyrim so I'm not really stressing about it. Going to be a great gaming weekend, just have to get through the family thing.

Well since the ToR beta is only 11-13, playing that would make sense. You can play Skyrim ANYTIME, but ToR is ONLY 5pm on 11th-13th.

It's a 30gb d/l (I heard) an donly two days? That's way too much to bother with, espeically with Skyrim/Saint's row coming so soon and my bandwidth cap.

Feel free to send me your beta invite if you really don't want it. I've been signed up for a year and a half and haven't gotten mine yet.

edit: Ah [censored]! Those bastards sent me an email asking me what I think about the pre-order program. I saw an email from TOR community titled "Your opinion is important to us." and my heart sank, thinking I had gotten an invite. They're starting to piss me off, that's the second time they've done that to me... :thumbsdown:

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. They select accounts from a pool of possible choices. Once selected, your account can only accept or deny the Beta invite. You can't pass it on to a friend.

Been in that beta for a while, its a good game but, its almost released I would not worry much about it.

Same thing here... I have been waiting for ToR for a long time... But I don't know if I want to get a two day tease of ToR. I don't feel like downloading 20GB game file and dividing my attention between Skyrim and ToR.

I'm just going to enjoy Skyrim right now and I'll worry about ToR when it is actually released.

I'm more unhappy with Bioware because The Old Republic wasn't a single player KOTOR3.
