Almost all the exp Ive been getting over the last few days of playing has been from dialouge quests and non combat related quests.. They really changed the way the game plays alot after you get around New Vegas.. Last one I just finished was bringing the satellite repair parts back to the boomers base

And with a high enough repair score, you could fix and improve them without any parts.

I think its pretty nice you can actually earn xp and finish quests by talking a good fight. More games are doing it these days and as I much prefer charismatic characters over brute force its a welcome change for me. I still get into combat of course It's just not all the time.
