Gaining levels & Sleeping

Hi,

Does it take more increases to gain a level the higher you get?
Does sleeping help in any way? I've currently gon approx 6 weeks without sleeping... :/

Sleep gives you a small buff wich will allow your skills to level up faster for 8 hours, sleeping in a common bed out there gives you +5% faster skill level, in your bed or in a inn gives you 10% and if you sleep in your house with your wife or husband you gain 15%.

Also yes, the higher level you are, the harder it is to level the skills up.

Just to be sure you understand, yes, the higher your level the more skill increases you need for each level. I cannot immediately recall the exact numbers,
but the first ten levels or so only need eight skill increases for a new level, but at level 50 you need 28. So aside from having to work harder (killing more
mudcrabs for each skill point of one-handed weapon), you also have to work longer (more one-handed skill-ups for each level). Am I making any sense?

Eh, Just use the Lover's stone and call it a day. It's not worth stopping every 8 hours to snooze, you're better off just playing more. Maybe worthwhile if you're going to do power-crafting and have a ton of mats banked up, but otherwise, Lover's Stone and go questing.
