skyrim has so many things that resemble lord of the rings characters. they have mamoths that are close enough to those giant elephants and giants that are close enough to trolls, and the orcs resemble the orak-kai so why not have giant spriggens that resemble those tree ents.
I don't get this, and why everyone wants them is skyrim. It is a medieval fantasy! GUNS DIDN'T EXIST!
Skyrim = Swords, Bows, and Magic Fallout = Guns
Play fallout if you want guns.
It was sarcasm. And I dont want guns in TES (it works in some fantasy but not TES), but it's not medieval at all. The dates dont even match up. Human civilization irl is 5,500 years old give or take (ancient Mesopotamia) while Nirn's civilization of upwards of ten thousand years. Add in steampunk super-tech of the dwemer and magical inventions / advancements of the altmer and you have something very distant from medieval times
Oh no its like tLotR... wait, almost (Harry potter being an obvious exception) every western fantasy title in the last 70 years is based on tLotR. For example Elves used to be only like Christmas elves pre-Tolkin (all small and secretive, doing mischief at night and stuff) not the tall noble altmer for TES.
Wait for a game based in Black Marsh or Valenwood and you might have more of chance seeing something resembling this. Remember the Hist are said to be an ancient sentient race so this topic isn't that ludicrous.
So you call someone stupid just because you didn't get that he was being sarcastic?? I bet you have TONS of friends!! <---- more sarcasm...
You could just use the capital letters most people can tell that caps means sarcasm 'Or we could agree to put sarcasm in quotation marks if that makes it is easier for people'

Its already easy to tell sarcasm without these hints. Fine the way it is.
