Reading this Kotaku article about the card-game-within-a-game, "Frenzy," it sounds quite complex and interesting.

The article also mentions dice and music games and something called "finger fillet."

Also there is a gameplay video at the bottom of the page. I've never played Pokemon or MAGIC: The Gathering card games before, but I gather they work something like this?

Anyone heard more about some of these mini-games? It seems potentially a single playthrough of RAGE could last a really long time if you spend some time gambling.

the "finger filet" is like the game that the android on Aliens plays to show off his dexterity. I believe they showed somethign on it in some of the 2007 QuakeCon footage.

Interesting ... a bit off topic but from your card game avatar, you look EXACTLY like Sam Worthington/Jake Sully... in "avatar"... or is it just me?

I'm pretty sure 'Finger Fillet' is where you have a knife in the right hand/ the left hand spread out on a table. And you have to rapidly stab the table between your fingers and not stab your fingers in the process. So your moving the knife rapidly between each finger and stabbing the table, the preference is to speed up as you go and not lose control of the knife thus stabbing yourself. You go as long as you can and beat the time of your opponent.

Finger Fillet is usually a brag rights game, basically you stab a knife into a table around your fingers, with increasing spead, the majority of users stab their fingers, hence the name "Finger Fillet".
