Game controller

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 4:15 am

Is there a game controller that can be used with the PC version of SkyRim? Either PS3 or XBox type??? Having trouble turning and
following my attackers using the mouse to turn my avatar, and have seen how the game controllers work in Play Station. I can't do it as well with my mouse as my friend can with his game controller. Getting killed too often because of this. Any suggestions?

Ya you can use a 360 controller and if you have a PS3 controller you can use MotionInjoy to emulate the 360 controller and it works just as well.

Plug in play for 360 controller (USB of course converters are cheap)

Motionjoy for PS3 controller easy as hell to set up.

i'm using Logitech F710 works perfectly ,no need for emulation programs ,all buttons in game showed as Xbox360 (X,Y,B,A etc). Good controller . And by the way i was surprised how long my batteries not dying . I've bought it in December 19 this is a month and a half ,still using the same batteries ,playing every single day compared when i had xbox360 it took me just 4days to kill batteries completely .

360 controllers work well, and if you can get an adapter you can use PS controllers (depending on what you get you may need an emulator).

A decent emulator software is 'Xpadder', which is open source...it provides full keyboard emulation, as well as various profiles and game/program auto-activation.

The wired 360 controller is excellent. I would only buy another controller if there were some controller that allowed me to have eight or more hotkeys, instead of the two you're stuck with when using the 360 controller.

That said, the controller is far better than mouse + keyboard.
