Before I start I have to mention that I've read all the Q&A about common game bugs, but I don't understand it well because I'm not that good at computers (and I'm a girl..).
I really need some specific instructions for how to fix the following bug:
I'm at "A Dangerous Voyage" chapter, and my game crash at the part when I need to go through the ducts to get to the captain's quarter.
When I enter the duct I can make just a few steps until the cut scene appears and then in the middle of the scene the game close.
I've checked out http://news.softpedia.com/news/Call-of-Cthulhu-Dark-Corners-of-the-Earth-Gameplay-Fixes-and-Cheats-45851.shtml and tried the solution but when I do that the game crash at the same point but without the cut scene.

I really love this game and I'm dying to finish it..I'll very appreciate any solutions/suggestions how to fix this annoying bug .
