I have bee playing Skyrim since December and it never crashed on me. Now, all of a sudden, as soon as I click Play on the launcher I get an error Skyrim has stopped working. Last time I played was 2 days ago and everything was fine. Nothing has changed on my system. Anybody else experiencing this?

Usually this only happens when there is a mod conflict or an .esp or .esm relies on content that doesn't exist.

Loading up the .esps and .esms is the very first thing that the game does.

Oh, and outdated mods that aren't compatible with the current version of Skyrim can cause it too.

Thanks for the reply. I solved! It was one of my video cards acting up. The Crossfire got disabled somehow and once I re-enabled it everything worked again.
