Hi, i get freezes during certain sounds, primarily when using the flame spell and when dragons roar near by, there may be more sounds that could cause this but these are the 2 that i have encountered that cause this.

The only other game i have with a freezing issue is BF2 Bad Company. Upon searching for the solution for that (which it seemed to be a common issue) the one solution i found that most seemed to agree worked for them was get a sound card.

Do i possibly need to get one?

My specs are in my sig.

I take it you are using the motherboards built in sound chip? These tend to be realtek audio chips, and some games have problems with these devices when the drivers and not up to date or certain "advanced" features are in usage.


Go to your motherboard makers website and look for an updated sound driver for the audio device. Also disable any enhancement features or special effects and set the output to stereo only.
