I start the game and it goes threw the beginning cinematic and when it gets to the Save the Ark or Escape the Ark screen it freezes and closes. Need alittle help.

Same problem here. You can move the mouse for just a second and it freezes.

Yup if your fast enough you can get to the next screen and it will freeze all the same lol.

Unfortunately I've tried all the fixes available on that site as well as http://gamecrashfixed.com/tag/brink/ (in case something there might help someone else)

Re-installed, verified, re-installed, drivers update(sound,video), hardware check, and i attempted a custom configurator to lower graphics settings pre-game to the bare minimum. http://www.rush-zone.com/downloads/gaming/brink/brinkconfigv1.1/details.html

All with the same result, Crash after the intro movie when it asks you to pick a side. Damn shame too that's a pretty movie :-\

I hope someone from the dev team responds here... I think I've provided enough details to be a worthy contributor to the bug fixes.

yeah i tryed that brinkconfig no go but i got my computer nuked reinstalled drives i only update ati too 11.4 and use the dx verson that was on the game and its runing again

Please devs, focus on this fix for a new patch, i want to play the game i spent $50

Tried re-installing Brink and installing the 11.5a hotfix no change still freezes at the save the ark and escape the ark screen.

They wont fix this, i guarantee it.

Apparently the game freezes because we have single core CPUs shame...

BTW Gabe, thanks for the research.

They say they're not patching this issue and you need to update to the minimum system requirements. So buy a whole new computer for a game.

Instead lets keep posting to that thread please and ask them for a fix.
