I just updated to the newest version of Skyrim today, and started playing on my Breton Mage character. I was just exploring, walking down the big river in the Reach, when I was attacked by an Elder Dragon. I killed him within a couple minutes by trapping him on the ground across the river with dragonrend and pelting him with arrows from my bound bow, while my storm atronach kept him occupied.
So the dragon is dead, and I obviously start to cross the river to loot it's body. I take 3 steps into the river, and my game freezes. I assumed it was just like every other time my game freezes, completely random. So I restart my PS3, kill the dragon again (I had saved just as the dragon appeared), and start across the river again to loot it and the exact same thing happens. I touch the water, and the game freezes.
I've tried this in various spots all along that big river (is it the Karth River?), and every time i hit the water the same thing happens. I've also tried it in every other body of water I've found, saving right before I step in it, and it happens every time. Now I have to avoid water altogether to avoid having to restart my PS3.
Is anyone else having the same problem???
