I can't stress enough how important reading is. Read comments, for possible bugs, and possible fixes, read the entire description, if it's a long bloated essay, it's probably there for a reason.
At last check I have 123 .esp plugins active, and like, 5 or 6 .esm plugins, no issues, no CTD, touch wood, my game is as solid as it was mod-less.
How did I do it?
Easy, a bit of common sense is needed for your load order, you need to know exactly what each esp/m is actually doing in the game, once you understand all that, setting up your load order is a breeze. No BOSS master list required. Just a bit of reading, and common sense. (Although the BOSS master list will give you a good order to start working on).
One thing I have to ask, did you update to 1.5 yet? I saw quite a few comments over on the Nexus where players claimed that installing 1.5 broke their mods. Might be worth checking into. One solution I read for this issue is to uninstall all mods, then re-install them all. A pain, I know, but if you're in that situation, just bite the bullet, it won't be wasted time. If you enjoy your game with mods that is.
If you need any specific help regarding your personal load ordering, or anything of that nature, feel free to PM me. I'll make it my mission to get your game working again.
