Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 11:07 pm

Sorry if this has been posted before and i missed it

My problem is im 70 hours in and the game now seems to be taking longer than normal to load areas like when i go through doors etc. Was fine I was going in nellis airbase and it froze my xbox.

Is there a way to fix it, I want to play it today but dont want to go and find out Its a glitch and I need to go back to an earlier save.

Any help would be great :)

It was doing that to me as well I was so bored just waiting for it to load, I don't know what it is but never happened on FO3. Might just be the complexity of your character and the environment around you ass it is more complex than FO3. :fallout:

Have you tried clearing the game cache? When the game is loading, hold down both bumpers and the blue X button until you hear the music. I do this when any of the loads start to slow down. It always helps load the game faster. If I go through a door or change scenes where it shows you the hint and some posters and it takes longer than 10 or 15 seconds, I will restart the game and clear the cache. I also do not have a lot of different saved games, maybe 20 total. A lot of the people on here do not mention whether they clear the cache when they complain. I still have freezes and minor glitches, but as far as it taking long to load, clearing the cache helps.

Clear your cache and download the game to your hard drive. That should help with the longer loading times. It did for me, back when I could actually play the game without it freezing, 4 weeks ago.

I also installed it on my hard drive. No major problems, just minor glitches.
