game will not start up, it lets me hit the start new game than shuts off. WTF

Wrong section and needs more info; What system are you playing on? If its PC is your system up to specifications? If it is are you using any mods? If not have you used the "verify game cache" option in steam to check for errors?

Computer can easily handle this game, no mods in use, everything is brand new. So far this game and all downlods with have used almost 80 gigs and is downloading 320 more mg. i am starting to feel a bit ripped off.

Whether the OP had any PC or not wasn't known, however, the message thread is now moved into the PC Hardware and Software problems forum, where no one will be able to answer, since there is no useful information about the system, the drivers, the OS, etc etc

Wait what? This games doesnt use 80gb of data.

And please tell us your system specs, no offence but many people assume a system can handle a game when it may be borderline.
