FYI, most aftermarket wired 360 controllers will work on newer PC games. Newer PC games are adopting the more recent XInput gamepad interface instead of DirectInput.
Xbox 360 controllers, whether its an official Microsoft 360 controller or an aftermarket one, all use XInput by default.
For example, a few days ago I went to Wal-Mart and bought an Afterglow AX.1 wired 360 controller. It works just fine with my PC and Skyrim. No extra software to install, no calibration. I just plugged it in and Windows immediately recognized it as an Xbox360 controller. Skyrim also has no trouble recognizing it and automatically maps and labels all the buttons like a 360 controller.
Anyhow, if you are interested in getting a gamepad for your PC, don't pull your hair out trying to find one that specifically says "for PC" on it. Just get a wired 360 controller.
