Surely it's not the PC verison though, since it's "locked".

Well, I'm pretty sure that Bethesda Softworks/Obsidian have it in their power to have a PC version of the game which isn't tied to Steam's release date or something.

PC Gamer would not review a console game.

By the time I get the next monthly issue of PC Gamer I'll already have been playing it for at least a week.

they make review copy's of pc games with out the drm i know this happen with Dead Rising 2

Jim Sterling of Destructoid apparently has a review copy also. He usually tweets cliff notes before posting his review. www.twitter.com/jimsterling

A guy from examiner.com also has a copy but I couldn't find any relevant tweets.

This update is of course for the people who want this kind of info. :)
