Games of Thrones - Season 2 - obviously filmed in Skyrim

Take a look at this YouTube video on the filming of the 2nd season of Game of Thrones in Iceland.

I swear I thought I was standing on the shores of Winterhold.

Sweeet. Cant wait for season 2... the entire series feels allot like Skyrim... civil war, power struggle, dragons. No doubt the writers for Skyrims story will have been slightly influenced by the books.

It's both a great show and a great book series. Can't wait for season 2!

Best thing on television right now.

I kind of feel sorry for all those Game of Thrones games that are coming. Frankly, if anyone likes the series and wants to play something with the same atmosphere and a similar background, Skyrim is the way to go.

Its not like they could of looked at real world history to get their ideas or anything. Nope, vast frozen waste lands full of warrior cultures only exists within movies and books.
