I'm fairly certain I've seen gas masks in several videos. If you watch 'a matter of class' you should see it briefly when they go through the resistance archetypes,

I was wondering why you would care if there was a gas mask in the game but looking at your avatar I suddenly know why.

Have you ever put gas mask on, went outside and just stared at people. It would be HILARIOUS to see their expressions.

I have put it on outside, but the little eye sockets are kinda of tinted and everything looks all weird. But yes it would be insanely funny! Just a menacing glare at random people.

I've seen a gas mask for the security that looks similar to the SF10, but it doesn't have the filter on one side.

Edit: The mask in the post above is the one I was talking about.

Even though I'm all for Resistance, I think the Security's mask is better.
I hope they have more than one mask each but I doubt it

Yeah. The mask that has one filter on the side that you're referring to is most likely the M40A1 Chem-Bio Mask. Also, the OP's avatar looks most like that also. (I'm a 74D, CBRN Specialist, in the Army. It has made me love Pro Masks.) It would be awesome if they had those in the game. It's my fave.

Thanks for the reminder of what I did. I was wearing my dad's gas mask (hes a painter BTW), and using one of my Uncle's prop machetes and just stood on the other side of the road of my dad's neighbour house while they were having a party. You now know that I'm clinically insane, and have a sick sense of humor.

P.S. they were drunk, let the good times roll...

The best part about gas masks is that you can have the most stupid facial expressions and everyone would immediately assume you're intently staring at them for murderous reasons.

Question: what is the suit the Security guy is wearing? It looks like a cross between The Tank Vest and The Bug's vest.

there are wearable gas masks but I don't think they have any actual functionality,
other than looking cool

Good question. It appears to be The Bug lower layer (see forum background image), but with a different upper layer.

He's wearing The Bug pants and The Freak maks for sure.

Hm.. The vest in the security screenshot.. I think that is The Eel vest? :o

But without the hoodie :P

EDIT: No, you know what, that must be the Eel Vest, I can see a hood on it, look at his collar

EDIT2: And the ''pattern'' on the shoulders look kinda shiny and similiar to The Eel shirt

Haha, you're absolutely correct, Schwarzeis!

I checked my poster and the Eel does have these exact straps. And also know I know where that hood comes from. Guess there is a version with the hood on and one down, then. OR (still the other theory) it's one headpiece with the hood and that one just covers the other.

I knew it! :P

Considering there is ''The Tank'' and ''The Tank Vest'' chestpiece, I guess this hoodie will follow that scheme, like ''The Eel Vest'' and ''The Eel Hoodie Vest''

Really nice knowing the looks of the chest in-game :) Now I just want to find out how it looks with the hoodie, and if there now is two versions, one with it on and one without, so you can go with for example; The Bug Faceguard with a hoodie on
