Unsightly Gates to Oblivion in your hold? Wish the Jarl had a larger beautification budget? Or just plain fearful of yet another Daedra invasion? Worry no more! Gate Crasher, an optional module for Open Cities, instantly strips away those relics of a forgotten time. No muss, no fuss!


As an optional module for Open Cities, this mod conceals the Oblivion gates and associated rubble as though they were never there in the first place.


This mod does not include any content from Open Cities. This mod does not replicate any part of Open Cities. This mod does not directly edit Open Cities. This mod does not replace Open Cities. You can disable this mod at will if you would like to use Open Cities without these tweaks.



Requirements:

  • http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8058.

Compatibility:

  • Must be loaded after Open Cities.
  • Will not work with mods that make use of the Oblivion Gates in any way.

Version History:

  • 0.3: Updated for Open Cities v0.8
  • 0.2: Updated for Open Cities v0.6
  • 0.1: Initial version

The result of this thread should, by extension, dictate the fate of the upload in question. To lock the thread but allow the mod to persist would be hypocritical (if locked for no other reason than its existence on ethical grounds and modding etiquette)

Personally, I don't understand what the contention with this is as long as this mod doesn't actually contain another authors work. It doesn't steal anyone's work, rather it is basically a filter that allows the user to NOT use an aspect of another mod.
