Fur armor, Draugr Gauntlets, Steel Plate boots, Elven Sword, Ebony war axe. None of them are improved dispite me being 100 in smithing.
No misc items, only health and magicka potions, no books.
Yet i may switch to Dawnguard armor when i get it.

My extensive beard and wood cutter's axe, named Abe's Terror.

;)

Nah I haven't thought about it. If it is like Shivering Isles, I will take the bare essentials so I can load up on the new gear and store it in my house like all the other junk. If not like SI, same thing since I don't want to waste any space on weapons I have dozens of

A couple lucky weapons and soul gems. My current Steel Plate armor unless the Dawnguard stuff is better. I'm curious to see how dangerous the new Vampires are. If my current enchanted Longsword doesn't work I'll craft and enchant a new one.

Also I'm going to grab Hircine's Ring in a bit. I have a feeling I'll need a few more transformations up my sleeve.

Everyone going with Dragonbone / Daedric legendary crap is gonna be really disappointed, unless you don't want difficulty...

Prolly nothing too fancy, don't wanna breeze through the expansion.

Gonna end up with the Dawnguard's armor set as soon as as I start the expansion (Might sneak kill one of them in secret if they are unimportant non-quest givers..I'll take his crossbow too assuming all this is possible that is) then I'm jumping ship and getting bit by the Volkihar and becoming a Vampire Lord...because I heard you start off the expansion joining the Dawnguard then you are given a choice to stay with them or get bit.

Vampires ftw.

Actually, when I think about it, asking what you're going to take with you doesn't really make sense. From what I understand, Dawnguard is not going to be like the New Vegas DLCs. You're not going to be pausing your game to go run around in some completely separate world space, running quests until the story is complete, then returning to your regularly scheduled program. It'll be set into the world space. It will be a part of Skyrim. So asking what you'll be taking with you for Dawnguard is a lot like asking what you'll take with you for the College of Winterhold or the Companions.

I don't know about any of you, but I don't specially kit my characters out for those guild quest lines. I simply run them with what my character always carries. The only thing that will make Dawnguard any different for me is that new items will become available that my character will be able to pick up along the way.

Yeah, that's why I don't use it. If I'm having trouble I just equip my shield and get to work.

However they said Dawnguard would be for higher level players, meaning they probably took people using the better armors into consideration. I'm very curious to see how its all going to mesh together. I'm hoping the Dawnguard armor and weapons are as BA as the Blades armor and swords.

I really like that anology in your signiture. It insults one of my favorite series, TES, but still, it is a very interesting observation
