I have a question about the release date of F:NV.

I askes the steam support and steam forum, but couldn't get a clear answer.
I'll just copy & paste from the steam forum:

The official release date is 10/19/2010 for USA and 10/22/2010 for Europe.
I live in Germany and it says the game is available on the 18th October (5 days and 21 hours).
The UK Steam store says the release is on the 22nd October.

We all know the german version is going to be censored and the only way to play it uncut is to buy it from outside (for example UK).

So is it possible to get the game gifted from the UK in order to play it uncut AND on the 18th October?

Wait Uncensored? does that mean?? im not so good in english but is that when it is no swearing and stuff?

I think it will be the 22nd october, when they say 18th they must be wrong because why should it be released there at the 18th and 22nd in other countrys?

18th must be false. It's the 19th in North America and 22nd everywhere else.

Even people in the States won't get to play it till the 19th. Germany like the UK will be the 22nd I think.

Doubt it. Steam knows you are in Germany so the game will activate for you on the day and time it activates for everyone else in your country.

As far as the censoring goes, as long as you do not download it from Steam, it will be the content that is on the disk that you bought or got.

How exactly do you mean censored?

Language? Drugs? Possible nuclear explosions? All of these? Or some other form of game content?

Low violence:
No blood and guts.

Maybe no ragdoll (not sure).


So I guess I have to wait till monday...

How do I find out what versions are censored?

I think you have just to take a look at the Fallout:NV steam store page.
It says for me in an orange box (you can find it between the screenshots and the release date):

"Low Violence: German low violence version only available with German language"
