If you want to get rid of the freezing issue forever, do as I did and Get RID of Fallout New Vegas. Best Buy gave me $25 for my copy. I URGE you to do the same. I really liked the game when it wasn't frozen but I've had enough. Rebooting my PS3 every 30 minutes on average is UNACCEPTABLE. I'm tired of Obsidian, Bethesda and Zenimax dragging their feet on fixing FNV. There will NEVER be a fix to the freezing issues of FNV. The game has been on the market too long, there's no way Obsidian or Bethesda will divert resources from other newer software titles to fix the issue as the life of the game has run it's course. They have made their money off this garbage heap already, and there is nothing that gamers can do about it (except STOP BUYING products from Zenimax, Bethesda, Obsidian).
As we all know you won't be getting your money or time back from Obsidian or Bethesda. You can't return the game to the store as most stores won't take back open software titles. So there's not much you can do to make Obsidian or Bethesda fix problems as they won't be losing any money on this game, but Gamers can make them pay in the future by STOP BUYING products from Obsidian and Bethesda and Zenimax.


The only way to stop companies (like Obsidian, Bethesda) from putting out Garbage like this is to STOP BUYING their products.


On the positive side, be glad Obsidian and Bethesda make crappy software and not life saving equipment as there would be many, many dead.
