Getting hit without animation from 2h weapons : V

As the title says, only two handed weapons do this. Say for instance the enemy is blocking and I am too. I can get hit by them, taking damage while they are blocking, resulting in damaging combos with only 1 hit animation. This makes fighting anyone with a two handed weapon very hard, even on normal.
