So, I've been hearing a lot of people getting married in skyrim. Whom can you marry and how?

Please be gentle with spoilers as I don't wanna know too much, merely the basics.

Ugh there is nothing to spoil because marriage svcks. But I'll be vague anyways.

Go to riften and talk to people in the temple of mara. They'll explain it all.

1. Go to riften and find Maramal, if you have never been in the Bee and Barb ( the pub) he will be there otherwise he'll be in the temple of Mara.
2. Talk to him about the Temple of Mara and eventually you will be able to ask 'can I get married here'.
3. Get an amulet of Mara, you can get it from Marama for 200 septims.
4. Find someone to marry... any race apart from khajit, argonian and bosmer, and any gender ( even the same as your'e own).
5. Put on your'e amulet if you have dialogue option about them being intrested in you then proceed there, if not do a quest for them ( something ivolving them).
6. Attend you'r wedding. If noone shows up keep waiting 24 hours at a time till everyone shows up.
7. After the ceremony tell your'e spouse to either move into your house or theirs, make sure you do this as then can dissapear if you don't.

Note if Lydia has died a gltich will occur that will fail your ceremony, go to UESP for solution,
