Herzog's 1979 remake of Nosferatu is probably the greatest vampire anything ever made. However, I doubt it will be at all similar in style to Dawnguard.

Any of the "Blade" movies? I am thinking of watching my wife's Twilight movies to psyche myself up to go on a vampire killing rampage. Then again, those are precious hours I can put into Skyrim, maybe I don't need to torture myself lol

whats that movie where the sun is about to die so we make a space ship armed with a huge nuclear weapon to kick start the sun again and while the ship travels to the sun, they come across the previous ship that lost contact years ago and they board it and stuff and find that everyone is dead so they go back on their ship and they find out that there is someone else on their ship and stuff gets creepy

Speaking of this......anyone notice the obvious draw from Marcus Corvinus in the Dawnguard vampire-beast? I personally love the genre (the new teen b.s. aside), and I love this take on vampires. It looks like a ripoff, but it's one I can deal with :)

I heard it was pretty good, but that was from twilight fans. So if you like glittery vamps and emo (do I need to include profanity to show my displeasure for these whiny maggots?) you might be in luck....sorry, I can't give you a first hand review

I don't know if there's any movie to get me in right mood for Dawnguard. From those you mentioned I have seen only the first Underworld and it was kind of stupid movie. To get me in right mood needs a movie where fierce warriors cuts the heads off beasts, vampires and witches - and it has to happen in medieval time. (Best way to describe it is Boondog Saints in medieval with vampires instead of gangsters. Any suggest?)

Not really no. More of a True Blood fan. Or Vampire:The Masquerade, when it comes to gaming. Then again, if the last movie is anything like the first few, I'll watch it. Even if it's just for a laugh.

Good point actually. I don't know.. Sleepy Hollow? Good monster movies.. gee, I don't think I know that many. Tips?

Bram Stokers Dracula, one of my influences in the game, originally I wanted to be able to turn into a wolf/bat creature like he does in the film, but my bubble was quickly burst when I realised you couldn't. Still, worth a watch :)
