I'm getting random crashes. I don't know if it's Skyrim's fa

It only happens when I play Skyrim. However, it could just be exacerbating an underlying problem rather than the problem itself.

After the crash I got this info from windows:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA800684D038
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\011712-17019-01.dmp
C:\Users\Home\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-45411-0.sysdata.xml

Any idea what it is directing me to? How might I go about troubleshooting this. I recently upgraded my RAM in hopes of fixing this issue. (The issue was present before the RAM upgrade.)

Any guidance would be appreciated. :)

A windows error is not something to post about on the skyrim forum mate.

Google it.

Well it only happens when I run Skyrim... so I was checking to see if anyone here knew anything. If it was happening when I run any other program, I wouldn't think of posting here. :wallbash:

Google whatever your exact error message is, not all that other useless junk. If its a blue screen of death, it'll look like 0x00999FB or something, or maybe MEMORY_VALIDATION_ERROR (made up, but something like that).

It it might say Appcrash: Skyrim.exe, error 00090900 etc etc.

If you need help, post the exact error here, and I'll help you fix it.

Although bluescreen locale ID 1033 might not be your error message, I googled it and found lots of info.

bluescreen locale id 1033

On my rig the 124 error code seemed to be a low voltage to the cpu issue, which I resolved by turning off windows power-saving features to the hard drives and monitor, and tweaking my overclock settings in BIOS.

It is different for every rig, but generally the 124 code is a lack of power to the cpu, as I understand it.

I think that's probably it. I was pushing the PSU as it is. Thanks for the help.
