They never put this game through any kind of open or closed beta testing, that was their first mistake.
Brink has more hardware and software issues than I can count, and I'd wager that almost all of them stem from compatibility errors that were never tested before release. Hopefully they hotfix these issues soon, if not... cant say I'll be spending money on games from Bethesda in the future.
Past that, why the hell was this game's multiplayer launched with no form of anti-hack software? ID took a pretty big part in Brink from what I understand, and arent they the people that developed Punkbuster to begin with? We've run into at least 3 individuals today alone that were, without a doubt, hacking or otherwise modifying game files to give them an unnatural advantage. I'd have expected better =/
