Gimme Your Shoes...

As many know the "Perfect Touch" perk at the very end of the Pickpocket tree lets you steal the clothes right off people's backs. But i want to know if it is possible to steal any of the really fancy clothes that Jarls wear? Back when i had that perk i never thought to try and now i started that toon over so i cannot find out. Assistance is appreciated

There are some characters whose clothes you can't steal. Astrid for example. I'm guessing the same will apply to the Jarls.

But astrid's clothes are widely available, the jarl's clothes are unique to each one (almost)

I was just saying. I've never tried to pick-pocket a Jarl, but I'm assuming that the clothes simply can't be stolen, much like with other characters. I might be wrong though.

Jarls clothes are protected, you won't be getting any, I assure you. Very unfortunate.

Remember, you can't be a jarl without protection known as Essentialality. I was torn between making the lend me your ears joke and something else, but now that I know Jarls are essential, they get a protection joke.

That aside, I have never used this perk, actually. It sounds funny to see everyone who can be stolen from in their underwear, but it would get old walking into Whiterun just to watch the now nearly nvde Talos preacher forget his pants.

I did that to everyone in whiterun and it got old real quick. I just wanted that particular suit from that jarl. Balgruuf's clothes are obtainable (i cant remember where) and are called Noble Clothes

I always found it funny that there was such a large collection of clothing in any vampire area. Hehe.

Maybe female vampires like shopping but can't really shop, so they chop instead.

I've tried to pick every single Jarl's clothes off them. They're just not actually in their inventories.

The female thane of solitude has the fur coat that jarls wear, she can be non-essential.
