I'd say Immortal Blood & Acturian Heresy as top two.

The Charwich-Koniinge Letters (3 books); the story of two evildoers who double cross each other in their quest for a daedric artifact. The ending has a nice twist.

Das Buch Die Unholden

If you mean in game i would recommend Immortal blood, Slid's Journel, and the Burcher's Journels are quite dark.

I know the first poster was joking...not sure about this one. Besides, that is a teenie story.

That's not in the game. That makes it a joke in my eyes.

If you were referring to "The Bible of the Deep Ones", that was in Oblivion.

If you were being serious about that comment. Then you may wish be more selective on the subject matter.

EDIT :
Religion and Politics
Topics or posts that deal with religious or political matters, beliefs, people, or events are not allowed on the forums. This includes issues that are religiously or politically charged such as Biological Evolution, even though they are not inherently religious. Similarly, discussions of "Global warming", "man-made climate change" are also politically charged topics and are not up for debate on this forum - although the issues and ideas surrounding global climate change are not inherently political, people are unable to discuss it without quickly bringing in personal political opinion.

Discussion of in-game religion and politics as it relates to Bethesda Softworks games and game lore are fine.
